Evaluation Workshops

In 2007 the Improve Group began offering learning courses on evaluation to nonprofits and other organizations looking for skills to conduct new and improved evaluations from within. Response to the new series was overwhelmingly positive:

Audience: Staff and Board members of organizations that want to increase their knowledge and capabilities for performing internal evaluations. Additional workshops by collaborative partners of the Improve Group include sessions on skills for asking for major gifts.

Purpose: Organizations often need to assess programs, create reports and validate data for funders and other stakeholders. Our courses give you in-depth, practical knowledge on what is needed to plan for meaningful evaluations and create the tools to implement them. Topics covered range from creating a participation plan and selecting the right tools to analyzing data and conveying results.

Accessibility: We are happy to schedule a convenient time to come to your organization. If you prefer, we can accommodate workshops at our office as well. Improve Group workshop instructors take the specific issues and real-life situations provided by participants to create a customized workshop experience.
