The Improve Group understands the importance of getting together with others in your field and sharing knowledge to expand ideas and increase skills. We will be attending the American Evaluation Conference 2009 this November to do just that. I found this conference-related opportunity to pass along for those who work in the area of technology for our schools.

This week’s pick: The good news is that there seems to be more opportunities for educator to increase their knowledge and application of technology in the classroom. The Foundation for Technology Education offers a $1,000 grant to offset costs to attend the International Technology Education Association (ITEA) Conference. The ITEA mission is to promote technological literacy for all by supporting the teaching of technology and promoting the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits.
