Internships

Internships at the Improve Group

We have a history of hiring talented interns here at the Improve Group. Opportunities are available for September-May internships or summer internships (summer internships are currently filled).

Here are some typical tasks performed by interns at various levels:

  • Students who are completing high school or beginning college can work over the summer on a variety of tasks, including data entry, record keeping, record cleaning, and general office support. These interns are paid hourly and typically work between 25 and 35 hours each week from June to August. Interns are supervised by project directors and are given tools and resources to check the accuracy and quality of their work.

  • Students in graduate-level programs work with us for a semester, the school year or the summer for a total internship placement of 200-400 hours. Graduate-level interns are paid hourly and have the opportunity to learn a wide variety of tasks, including administering surveys, interviewing adults, analyzing data and reporting results. Graduate interns are supervised by the company president and have the opportunity for one-on-one guidance throughout the internship.
